1. BME Solutions Qlick Higher Education User Group

These bi-annual events have been held by BME Solutions for nearly eight years now. They pose an excellent opportunity for anyone using (or planning to use) Qlik in a higher education institution. Expect a packed agenda with presentations from both BME solutions and higher education institutions from across the UK.

2. London Business Analytics Group

This one is a presentation for those that are interested in applying conversation interfaces to communicate with existing graph data science models. Galiya Warrier is a Data Solutions Architect working with Microsoft; it’s a great opportunity to get involved in an intimate discussion with up to 50 people.

3. London Power BI Users Group 

Microsofts’ suite of Business Analytics tools brings together another meet up based in London. Power BI is causing a stir in the BI and analytics industry - this is for anyone interested in introductory talks but the group also has the additional option of sessions for the experts too.

4. Big Data and Analytics for Marketing

This summit is all about providing insight for businesses into how taking control of your data is valuable to marketing and can produce better results. These two days will explore the latest trends and challenges for executives in the data industry and focus on optimizing overall performance.

5. Big Data and Analytics Innovation

Another two day event from Innovation Enterprise, this one focuses solely on innovation for Big Data and Analytics. Bringing together leading industry experts to discuss the impact of investment in data and insight into strategies and the processes implemented by the most successful global organisations.

6. Digital Analytics Meet Up 

A meet up in Bristol to talk about tagging, tracking, analysing and optimising. It’s a space for like-minded people to come together and have discussions; anyone with an interest in Digital Analytics is welcome.

 7. Power BI Manchester 

Bringing together a community of Power BI users for a talk from Chris Webb (a specialist in multiple Data Analytics tools). A great opportunity to get involved with this meet up at its early stages, this will be the fourth event the group has held. There will continue to be a variety of key speakers and hands on introductory sessions.

8. Data Science and Technology Scotland

A meet-up with the intention of sharing personal experiences of working in the industry, sharing insights in to the market and discussing all things Big Data, Analytics, Data Science and Technology. This event includes talks from Data Scientist, Yuri Aleksandrov and Professor of Computer Science, Mike Chantler, from Heriot-Watt University.

9. Incorporating Big Data, Hadoop and NoSQL in BI Systems and Data Warehouses
