Rupert joined the Consortia team back in 2014 as our Contract Division Manager having held senior positions elsewhere in the recruitment industry. He was tasked with building up the contract desk and since joining has exceeded all expectations working with clients of all sizes from start-ups to FTSE100 firms. In his first three years on a cold desk, Rupert billed £1 million GP alone and is about to buy his second home!
The term “Average Day” seems to elude me here as no two days are the same, depending on workload I’ll be working on developing new business, filling contract jobs and helping the team to achieve their own targets and goals.
Helping people to develop themselves in their jobs and achieve their goals. Building long standing relationships is important to me and has helped me over the years.
The people – over the years we’ve attracted some great people who I’d genuinely describe as my friends. The fact we are all working towards a common goal really helps maintain morale. The perks aren’t too bad either!
Working with a Client to develop them into a key account keeps me motivated and driven; whether I’m developing the account myself or teaching other team members to do so. I really enjoy getting out and seeing clients face to face to help build long-lasting relations.
Driving the team to the best of their ability and keeping up with the ever changing markets we work in. It’s a 24/7 job in reality which can often be challenging.
